Coffee, chocolate and caramel with slight roast aroma. Slight nut, low hops.
Dark brown color with an off-white head. Very persistent head. Clear.
Chocolate coffee and roast overwhelm the pallet. Very toasty and bread flavor. Low hops, no burnt notes. Finish is slightly citrus and is medium lasting.
Medium body with moderate-high carbonation. Very low astringency but slight diacetyl.
Roasty, chocolate and coffee are the dominate flavors in this low hoppy beer. Very good example of the style.
- Artificial butter, butterscotch, or toffee aroma and flavor. Sometimes perceived as a slickness on the tongue.
